Terms of Service
Last updated: March 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website tryexpora.com and the Expora product and services ("Services") provided by Expora. By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our Services.
1. Description of the service
Expora provides a visual algorithm workspace and related tools (including algorithm visualizers, learning roadmaps, and integrations) to help users understand and practice algorithms. We may offer free and paid tiers. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services with reasonable notice where feasible.
2. Account and whitelist
When you join our whitelist or create an account, you agree to provide accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. You must notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
3. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not: (a) use the Services in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations; (b) attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, networks, or other users' data; (c) interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services; (d) scrape, reverse-engineer, or build a competing product using our Services without our prior written consent; or (e) use the Services to transmit malware, spam, or other harmful or illegal content. We may suspend or terminate access for conduct we reasonably believe violates these Terms.
4. Intellectual property
Expora and its licensors retain all right, title, and interest in and to the Services, including all content, features, software, and branding. You receive no ownership rights except a limited license to access and use the Services in accordance with these Terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our materials without our written permission.
5. Disclaimer of warranties
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, Expora disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Expora and its affiliates, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Services, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to these Terms or the Services shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or one hundred US dollars (USD 100), whichever is greater. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in such cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
7. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Expora and its affiliates and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without cause or notice. You may stop using the Services at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will survive termination.
9. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Expora operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Services shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless otherwise required by mandatory law.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes may be communicated via email or a notice on our website. Continued use of the Services after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
